Good And Evil

You know Ive been thinking. >.> Have you ever thought that maybe the two are switched? I mean for all we know the meaning of good can be bad in some cases. Most beliefs are based off of religion am I wrong? O.o For example, if you were raised off of the impression that taking a cookie from the cookie jar is bad then wouldn't that be good? If your parents told you that cleaning up your room is a good thing? These examples would go under the category as good, would it not? For all we know being a "Good Samaritan" may be in fact evil. But its just a thought. O.o Not saying I don't like helping people out, but sometimes it gets a little frustrating and then you ask why. >_>

just think about the 3rd world countries

many ppl ask..
we here... have so much food...
and a lot of it... we dont even use...
so why dont we give them all what we throw away anyway...

in fact it would be a noble thought...

but thats not really good either...
cause if you give and give those countries all they need...
you they wont care for trying to get them up on their own...
at some point they get dependent on you...

sure... giving them something... in the the worst cases on emergency is good...
but in the long term... you should do it...
and rather help them to make them able to help themselves

K I was just thinking maybe I was the only person thinking of that. But if good was considered evil wouldn't it be possible to be somewhat "Perfect" if you were completely evil since it has never been documented in world records? o.o Or at least shown on television of a "Bad Guy" on a show killing(Or at least winning.) the good guy? And wouldn't that mean if beliefs as such dictate not only our every day life but will? O.o Maybe we should have more shows, lessons, and laws that go under the category as "Evil"? And who knows it could even better the world. o.o

o.o I always beleived that Good and evil where relative and couldnt exist without each other. No pure good, no pure evil. People made em up and each person has their own ideas about what they actually are.

Meh good and evil are just words, now power is what really matters. (not my opnion but the world's)

Power is just a illusion for greed.

Yeah that makes sense... but still in today's world, to survive you need power.

the way you use this "power" makes the diffrence... weather its for good or evil its up to the user, but your right greed is never a good thing to come by often afflicted by evil...

its like you compare jesus with satan, who ever said jesus was pure?

yeaaaah but thats all in the bible a book made over 2000 yrs ago much of it could be false information, but enough of religion my point is that everyone is more or less evil/good there is no true evil and not really true saint either.... its all in the temptations such as greed, lies etc and most of the time it gets worse as time passes by....

One of my favorite quotes of all time was from a book. "Sometimes its necessary to do wrong. Sometimes its the only way to make things right". This basically explains my opinion on the matter...
