I'll post avatars I make here, since im starting up again...just give me your opinions and if you want one I will make it free as I need practice, here's one i just made:



I know it looks really sloppy but it was REALLY difficult. I started by taking this picture:

Rendering it likes this for 20 minutes of precision:



Resizing, pasting, then I had to get that animation I used, make a layer mask, and make sure it fit perfectly into his wings...that took 15 minutes alone, then I had to do it for the 20 other layers of the animation, paste it onto the avatar, then the text was simple stuff...

Im really just happy I learned how to shape animations.

though it looks a bit weird when this second animations appears... cutting of the wing.. and the whole pic seems to move 1 step to the side
im sure you can do this better

looks good but did notice the same as Kiri with the cutting of the wing

Yeah, I noticed that...it dosn't happen on the plain one...it might take me a little while to find a solution for that. As for the wing, that was just a simple mistake on my part, of which is easy to do...but not easy to go back and fix...as i'd have to do it perfectly for each of the 21 frames. The text wasn't that great either, I can definitely do better...this was just something to get me started back up after my long break of not making any.

i'd say...
just make the layer with the pic with the still gundam on top of the moving one...
then it automatically gets not cutted...
though... the cannon might be a problem...
i'd say... make a layerwith and one without the gun

Too late to fix now, i'll remember that though.

Gimp is definitely a lot harder to use than photoshop..and probably not as good, but I prefer it and if you take the time to learn it(unfortunately I had to teach myself)it'll pay off.

As for the pic, just give me the details and i'll do it.

The background i want it like a dark red and black mixed.like the one that has Ichigo and the moving gif.

So...your saying you want the 2nd pic, 150x150 with a black/red background with the first pic appearing to the left of orihime's head?

Okay I got it, should be done by tomorrow or the next day...though you wont see much of the background since the picture will be taking up most of the room.

One last thing, does it have to be 150x150 or is 100x100 good?

Edit: unfortunately that animation is 13 MB...and your average avatar is 25-75KB, if I make it you wont be able to use it on here or anywhere else...so im going to have to find a different one, rest assured...I will o.O

cant you size it down with servimg?

No...the lowest I could get it to is 7MB.
