subbed VS dubbed

well... i myself prefer watching anime subbed... and not dubbed...

there are sure good made dubbed series... and some that just sucked....

and of cousre the worst thing... censoring and cutting out scenes for TV...

No, they don't change the dubbers every 50 episodes...

There are two main dubs, ocean and funimation...ocean was earlier and they made it all the way through DBZ. Funimation made it from DB all the way through GT. The reason you think that they changed the dubbers is because you watched it online and watched two different dubs by two different companies.

i never watched it dubbed in english... that would be blasphemy XD

Yea! Go ryu n die! Lol cause I'm for dubbed too now for some anime I will watch in subs but that's cause usually those anime haven't been translated yet so I have no choice but..anyway

I love subbed and if the voices annoy you do what I do at times and turn off the volume XD

omg... i dont like reading too... but i like subs anyway...
i dont turn off the sound... as im just used to japanese...
also you wouldnt be able to hear background sounds...
and would wonder "why the hell do they turn around?" XD

anyway... i've had to watch some anime eps i usually watched with subs... with dubs... and i really didnt like it..
first of all... the pronunciation of japanese words and names in english just sucks...
you cant deny it...

there is german dub a lot better XD

Well I think what it is is that in dub they don't say Japanese words the same as the original Japanese version cause I mean let's just face it the dubbers aren't Japanese so it just doesn't sound the same. Personally I think they r usually pronouncing the words right but just lack the Japanese accent to make it sound right

yep the pronunciation of various letter combinations is different

and one has to remember that japnese is a pic text not so much as letter based as in the states

actually languages fall into different bases:
chinese:chinese, Japanese, etc
german: English and modern german
latin: French, itlian, spanish, etc
Greek: (it is either this or russian but I believe it is greek) Russian, etc.

that is the bsis of languages. over time these stole elements of each other for there modern versions. like latin into english, and english into japanese
