subbed VS dubbed

First topic message reminder :

well... i myself prefer watching anime subbed... and not dubbed...


sure ... it depends on the anime itself...

i sometimes think ... why dont they just dub german series again...
dub has a much clearer pronunciation of the words and sentences...
you can more easily understand them...

as there the speaker directly speak into the microphone...
while while filming the scenes... ppl tend to mumble more or less... -_-

i mean...
im watching TV... and zap through the channels...
sometimes dont know the current show that is going on...
but as soon as they start talking...
i instantly notice if its a german movie... or.. lets say an american show dubbed into german
cause it just sounds differently...

and i think dub sounds better that original >.>

I generally don't care if it's subbed or dubbed xD as long as i see the thing i wanna see in dub or subbed i'm good. like Naruto I've seen in in English and Japanese xD but i really wanna see the Latin america version,A.K.A the Spanish one(but if i say Spanish it'll be the Spain Version ._. which is not that good...but meh ) o_O i hear they cuss a lot :3 XD

D: and i hear theres a bleach spanish version around,i think latin america too. o~o i wanna hear it..*goes to search*xD (Also i clicked I don't care)o_O

O.o whoa the Spanish version cusses a lot? I didn't see that coming lol I wonder why XD but I'm glad someone chose "I don't care" too ^^

As our dear admin put it correctly,they don't censor much.

And Ulquiorra,Haru...since were talking about Ulquiorra..i'm thinking of a very high chance since his personality is one of cold,quiet,etc..he doesn't cuss...o.o at least..in my point of view.

I heard that in the Forest Of Death(the latin america or Spain ver) Naruto,Sakura and Sasuke were cussing xD but i need to find that episode so i can be entirely sure!

and the Bleach one i haven't heard any cussing..yet.think of their personalities for a minute or two.i wouldn't imagine Orihime cursing o_O that's just...weird...but *shurgs*who knows?

I prefer subbed, I can't stand American voices in anime. ~__~

and ppl who most defenetly are is: Ichigo,Vaizards (nearly all of them XD) Grimmjow, ishida, Neliels fraccion? (O.o forgot there names) Nnoitora and Hitsugaya? (O.o seriously idk) madarame, renji, zaraki, (seriously ppl who get involved in fighting xD and love it)

they sure cuss in bleach...
but like in naruto ... countries like germany or USA... censor much of the cussing... letting the chars say rather harmless things...
so i guess if bleach would get into tv and enabled for children... they would censor their a lot too...

and of course... why would someone suddenly start to cuss in some countries dub (spain)... if he hasnt done cussing in the original japanese version ... >.>

it also depends on their target audience

Naruto is targeted to teenagers

bleach is targeted to older audiences

like 1 year ago there were rumors around here in germany... that said a channel is going to bring bleach into tv...
almost everyone feared it.. cause they already screwed naruto up...
but if they really intended to bring that in the afternoon programm... then good night
cause it would just end up like naruto... language is censored.... bloody scenes as well... blood appears like a blue or purple glimmering substance... weapons that hit a char vanish magically x.x

Yea that would suck if that's the case kiri x.x well here in America they show the dubbed bleach on what's called "adult swim" and on that channel they show it all uncut so language and blood isn't cut out of bleach for us

lol well... the scene where sasuke was so scared of orochimaru.... he stabbed a kunai in his leg to make him able to move agin...
well... in germany: it just looks like he beat his leg ith his fist.. as the kunai magically was removed XD

Yea Mimi they did edit that part when they saw their own deaths where there wasn't as much blood and its the same throughout the show as far as I know but at least we have uncut dubbed dvds tho lol

dvds is something totally different... they dont censor blood in german dvds too... but in tv...

Yea I get ure point there..I guess u can't depend on TV to watch some decent anime
