class skills and weapons
ok as this thread says now that the classes re done we need skills and weapons and armor for these classes

Weapons are easy =D
Swordsman=Swords....Well, I dunno if that works, lol. I know people may want to use more than just swords at first level =o Armor could be anything, from light to heavy, shields.
Apprentice=Staff, maybe modified to focus magical power =o and only robes =[ Heavy armor you ruin the ability to cast spells.
Archer=Bows/Crossbows, light and medium armor

Streetfighter=Honestly? Fists and legs and feet and elbows and no armor to light armor
Beast whisperer=Whips? Chains? a Sharp pointy stick...Light armor?

first we need to gather what weapons even exist...
im starting..
list or weapons and equipment: in any shape and size
swords, ones hand, 2 hand, daggers, knife, axes, morning star, spears, lances, staffs, (brass)knuckles, kunai, shuriken, sticks, claws, long needles, poison, blowtube, bows, crossbows, various arrows, whips, nun-chucks, clubs, bats, scythe, chains, thin wires, cleavers, rapier, saber, cane?, hammer, pole-arm?, books, wands, scepter, ....
thats what i got so far
any additions?

about classes...
some weapons... i dont know how to manage them...
just a few thoughts:
soldier: swords and axes, pikes?,rapier, etc..., shields
samurai: katana ... and other japanese weapons... but mostly katana, daggers? didnt they had like a katana for main fight... and dagger or short katana as a alternative... in special cases
spearman: spears > pikes, pole arm
lancer: lances
knight: swords, axes, rapier shields
barbarian: clubs, bats, morning stars, hammer

Yeah, Samurai had two weapons, a katana and a wazikashi, which is a short katana for fighting indoors. I think Scythes would word for dark mages =3
What do you mean by sticks exactly? And Martial Artists should stick with just knuckles and possibly claws, at least the ones that stick to the palm of your hand.
Also, you could throw maces and morning stars into the swordsman class

but when i gathered the weapons... somehow... nun-chucks just did so fit to it... ö.ö;

Since swordsman is a starting class and the branches are extremely different, I would say that should start off pretty well even is strength, speed, dexterity, defense, constitution, charisma, intelligence, Wisdom. Vipy knows what I mean.
Apprentices are about the same only lacking strength, constitution and defense. They would be very intelligent, Wise and charismatic. Hopefully speedy in case of close combat.
Archer don't need much but speed and dexterity, a good constitution would come in handy if some got too close.
Rogues would be fast, dexterous, very charismatic and intelligent. They'd be sneaky and able to use surprise to their advantage. Charisma to get out of certain situations and intelligence to know places and things
Streetfighters would start out strong, fast and dexterous, maybe wise if they want to be a monk. They would use their equipment to their full ability, especially claws and "sticks" lol.

i like that..
the only thing is
archer... would need dexterity... wouldnt they??as well as fast..... and rather not too strong... as they like to avoid close combat... and would need speed to kinda "flee" to get a bigger range to attack again... maybe an average strength

The list seems right on target in my opinion, though for archers note that the daggers are for throwing as thats what they would normally be used for or maybe have the knives for throwing and the dagger for...you pick. I would add saber to crusader and or any others in that class group and also add lance to either paladin or knight, which is basically a sword with a cone shape on the end of it.

well..
i also think dragon riders should be able to use various weapons...
but then...
they have to decide for 1 only..
and not cary around various weapons.. and choose the one they want...
or keep switching their weapons fitting o the opponent
if you choose a weapon... youll stick with it for the rest of your life...
or till the end of rank at least
i think almost every class should be able to carry a dagger or a knife around himself... as an emergency case..
especially for archers... as they would have real problems if the opponent comes to close ... they would need a way to defend themself...
of course also use them for throwing purpose
also a few clases should be able to set traps..
like a bear trap... or having the knowledge to set like a rope... then when someone runs in.. the get hanged up on a tree XD
archer should be able to do such stuff...

and of course... a heavy armor gives much defense... but also slows down
