class skills and weapons

ok as this thread says now that the classes re done we need skills and weapons and armor for these classes

did i kinda overlooked the template truce made???

can u make a dragon killer char?

read through all of the RP talk, lol. It's your choice if you want to kill dragons but there wil not be a specific class for that.

i just ask, in a RP game, there is no a class that always be a superior class
in here i see the dragon raider is the most high extreme class..like a god..XD

i mean see the beast wisperer, beast master and dragon raider
dragon raider is high extreme class that i know
in the book (i dont care what will u say about this) dragon raider like the king, they have a power from the dragon that they ride
also, they are protected by a paladin...
so who can kill them?
a cleric? lol, they only can cast a support spell to them
dark mage/wizard/elemental? LOL they cant do/give a good damage to kill a dragon raider
archer? this is joke, a dragon should be a powerfull, u cant just finish them with an arrow..
samurai, swordsman, soldier : throw up their weapon..?
lancer/spearman : should think of this one, but they not a powerfull as u think, they doesn't have a defend, but damage so high if 1 by 1 with other users like barbar etc

so thats need a char class dragon killer or dragon slayer :
spec : use spear or sword (like a dragon_slayer sword)
no shield if use spear and use shield if use a sword
have a magic : barrier (it's protect from dragon spell or attack / decrease the damage taken by an dragon raider attack or spell) and other magic who can deal a grat damage to the dragon raiders
have a big equipment to use like a paladin

a dragon slayer/dragon killer class is a other job class from a paladin/lancer/spearman
paladin, spearman and lancer have a job to protect dragon raider
but dragon killer or dragon slayer is choose a way to kill the dragon raiders
in statistical :
dragon raiders < dragon slayer
dragon slayer = paladin / spearman / lancer

but they almost like the other class, have other weakness
think of it....

Ehm, You are thinking of a book not our RP world necessarily. Besides Dragon riders/beast whisperers/beast masters DO have some kind of weakness in that they NEED to take care of their beasts and if caught without them are alot more helpless. They can be used to control their own beasts(particularly if they are dragons and their dragon likes them)

Besides think strategy. An Archer *COULD kill a dragon by shooting its eye if they where really really really good. More realistically they could wound a dragon by shooting its wing and then harming it enough so it might even throw off its rider. Think of the psycological effects on the dragon and the rider from that and you could really get somewhere! Same applies to mages/clerics.

I dont think we officially decided we are using Eragon's magic system and that dragon riders take mana from their dragons so alot of what you said wouldn't apply if we didn't do that. Thats definitely something we would have to define if we are going to have alot of Dragon riders though.

Knowing the magic system wouldn't be a bad idea either considering all the magic classes we have here

Personally I vote that the beast whisperers++ don't have powerful magic because they mostly rely on the beast to care for them and mabey some secondary skill such as archery to complement it but mostly just having their beast do the work.

the beast whisperers++ wiill be able to use magic
but the extend is what needs to be tweaked
one of them will be able to transform into a beast or fuse together... remember.. that of course would need magic...
on the other side they will be able to spell casts together with their beast
like kiba in naruto
they are fighting together and kiba uses jutsus for them both and they can attack that way

and of course... ppl can try to attack the beast whisperer or dragon rider directly..
not neccesary the dragon... but the rider...

but most likely those chars are rather strong ... pretty muscleous... after all they have to tame and maybe to fight with their own beast or capture new ones
and they also use weapons... but blunt ones

absolutely yes, i read book too much, but if i look foward, this RP must have a other side job/class
if u want make a good RP just think of that.

and about archer, yes u right, u can strike the dragon eyes, but think it carefully, an archer cant kill a dragon...XD
except u think to have a group with other support char and short range attacker...LOL

and other beast, if u say like beast masters...barbarian or defender/paladin can kill them, like beast whisperer can killed by mage

everyone can have an advantage..
if using the right stratagies and own advantages and the other disadvantages

mages might have a rather long time to cast a spell
during that time one can be easily attacked..
as they have to concentrate

while beast masters can have the advantage of fighting 2 vs 1
