ok as this thread says now that the classes re done we need skills and weapons and armor for these classes

The only I didn't like about that is the Clerics =o I think that since they cast different types of spells than the other, all of them more focused on healing, that they can wear any armor with penalty. Like in D&D, divine spells have to chance to fail even in heavy armor

i like that chart vipy...
though what i think is a bit weird that it looks like only soldier classes are able to wear heavy armor...
or maybe have it like this that at a higher rank... a few more classes are able to wear also heavy armor... in some conditions
like say in the beginning heavy armor would higher the fail rate for mages... but later on at higher rank... it doesnt effect them

I wrote that clerics and dragon riders could wear heavy armor also 0_o
and truce I did say that they would have spell failure with the heavier armor

ok I guess all can but wont recieve the benefits stated bove for that class
like barbarians wont get a hardened skin in heavier armors and all mages can then wear it but risk spell failure as a result
we could offer skills for players to counter these effects but then they have to use up one of their skill slots to do so
and the heavy the armor the lower the speed they could do so any ninja out their thinking they could be fast and wear heavy armor think again

Agh, no spell failure for clerics x.x Divine spells don't have a chance of failure. That's why it says Arcane Spell Failure %

i think for now... we should use vipies chart
and maybe later on ... higher ranks (not all classes) would be allowed to wear heavy armor as well...
but of course... different armor has different advantages and disadvantages..
heavy armor always results in slower movements and also disturbs movements... etc

I know what you mean truce but in my opinion clerics in D&D are over powered
I mean pretty much ny weapon, any armor and they can cast spells to heal themselves when they are about to lose
kind of gives them an edge in general

I wouldn't think so o.O They have so many different attributes required for their survival, ya can't be good in everything o.O

anyways this is what I am thinking
we are killing ourselves in doing this
what we need to do is get more support from the other people who want this
here is my plan....you want this to be an rp where people could make their own characters .........then let them. come up with basic suggestion skills and spells and then some basic equipment they can choose
then make a um what are those things called that peolple fill out about there characters ^^;;
and let them use all our suggestions but I bet most will try to make there own skills and the more creative will choose there own equipment. and we will have to approve of these characters and skills and spells. and then the ones we really like alot we will ask for permission to use and add the mto the list
I mean we are never going to get all the equipment and skills and spells we want because someone is always going to have a problem or want something different so lets just do it ^^

yeah... maybe this will work
giving basics... and then let them rp their own thing
but we never meant to give out spells and skills only made by us...
but rather give some example...
for those that cant come up with... or need some inspiration... but already want t start out with something

ok I say let truce try to make a character and since mods and admin can go through locked sections, we will be able to see and comment on the progress that way we can come up wit a template *thanks truce tht is the word I was looking for XD* and go from there, we may get more inspirations when we see it in acton

Oh good good good! All these really specific stuff scared me I like a bit of room to make crazy combos and see how they work out. I used to make templates for multiple RP sites (wich... failed) but mabey if you need help I can do that, or I can work on cultures and names of the different settlements if you like

trust me only a few things will be rules others our free base heck I would be willing for new classes if someone can come up with any later. These are just for starters and suggestions
