spells and skills
First topic message reminder :
every class will be able to use magic in some ways...
some use spells
some use skills ( i dont mean skills like strength, intel, speed, etc), skills are like special moves...
some use both
elements is another questions...
of course not every skill/spell will have an element...
but.... actually... everyone will be able to use every element they want
but they need to be reasonable...
also... there are the 4 basic elements: fire, water, earth and wind
advanced elements like: poison, lightning, ice, etc
special elements: light and darkness
i think we better call them attributes... ö-Ö or not?
depending on what class... you will need to choose one (basic) attribute, then through out the game... get a secondary one... (< advanced? >)and eventually a 3rd one
of course need to be reasonable... you cant choose opposing elements
mages are another part...
apprentices will be able to use 1 basic
then depending on what way they choose...
dark mages >> 2nd rank: dark attribute > 3rd rank: second basic(or advanced... dont know yet) > 4th rank: advanced attribute
but they need to be reasonable with them... example: fire, earth and poison along with dark would fit good together
elemental mages >> 2nd rank: add 2 basics > 3rd: add 1 basic and 1 advanced > 4th: all, except dark or light
healers >> same as dark mages except they get the light attribute at 2nd rank
they also would need to be reasonable... example: water, wind, and lightning along with light would fit together
if some one wants to have a mixed char, they will have to sacrifice some attributes
dragon riders will have to choose the attribute of their dragon... and choose their own attribute that fits to the dragons attribute
the dragons attribute can be though any attribute... basic or advanced (dont know if special attributes will be used here)
spells and skills of course will have levels too
though of course with the growth of your char... the lower level spells will grow too
example: level 1 fireball is pretty small at the beginning... and grows in size and speed, or can fly curves or even stop in its flight aka controllable, and the char can decide how the ball behaves and the char will need less time to prepare/cast the spell too, or if we make it like this... wont need to speak the chant (>> like kidou in bleach)

Kunta (its the powerfull arrow, search that in mahabharata story, that arrow can autofind the enemy and give a death only in 1 strike)
only that for now, maybe i will add more later until get a new idea..^^

its up to them
and the skills and spells need more depth in describtion if they are going to be used
